Independent pharmacists are pushing back in an effort to save their business.

Many health insurers are looking to cut costs that they bypass brick and mortar pharmacies and go straight into mail order.

Pennyslvania pharmacists are looking to have a bill passed by the senate. The House Bill 838, which would give them the right to fill multimonth prescriptions for a single co-payment, just as mail-order pharmacies typically can giving them more of an equal footing with mail order pharmacies.
