Donald Feeback picks up his eye prescription from Brown's pharmacy on Southern Boulevard.

"This is a good neighborhood pharmacy here. I mean, I come here for everything," said Feeback.

While all of his drug needs are taken care of here, other people switch pharmacies frequently in order to take advantage of coupons and rebates offered or cheaper prescriptions. That will all change starting Jan. 1.

With the new year comes a new rule from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Residents will now only be allowed to transfer their prescriptions once a year.

"The amount of transfers and the potential for error have skyrocketed," said Bill Winsley, executive director of the pharmacy board.
