Pharmacy chains will continue to provide a well-planned, strongly supported front end with expansion in consumables, beauty care, and over-the-counter health products. This move will ensure that patients can have a “one-stop” shopping experience. As the pharmacy chain industry grows, so will the demad for staff.   According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, employment of pharmacists is projected to grow 14 percent from 2012-2022.  The increase for prescription medications will lead to more demand in the pharmacy industry.
